Latest Pastry Shoe styles for Spring 2012

Years ago, the creative and stylish daughters of Rev Run had an idea for a young shoeline that has proven to be completely delicious.  Angela and Vanessa have done it again this season.  Their spring line kicks off the warm season with a batch of new hightops that are beyond one's wildest imagination.  Though most shoelines usually appear to be catering to a certain crowd, Pastry's vibrant collection has shoes to appeal to even the pickiest chick-whether you are a shy wallflower wanting a little bit of zip in your step or a free spirit screaming into a megaphone.  A stroll through their Freshy Baked section of their website proves to be an eye opening experience.

For the girl that likes a quieter shoe, there is the Sire Classic Canvas shoes.  These are adorable because the design is not overpowering, but the colors merely whisper, "psst...hey you...yeah I'm talking to you....come look a little closer."  Choose from basic grey (which will match everything in your closet), deep purple (think the color of a super juicy plum), turquoise (a steamy tropical dream) and the green (which are alluring and earthy). The texture of this shoe is insanely clean and crisp.

For those feeling a little whimsical this spring, the ladies of rap royalty have created the Glam Pie Fantasy in wild cherry. This appears to be a dialed down version of the Punky Brewster shoes worn by the children of the 80's (yes, I just dated myself there).  The colors do compliment each other very well and prove to be an absolutely dazzling arrangement.  The Sure Espadrille Mids are also super cute for those who love to be adored for their flashy vibe.  They are adorn with a fiesty sectioned brown and black leopard print that will definitely demand a second look from your curbside audience.  Loudest of all are the Studded Sugar Rush shoes.  These stunners are surefootedly studded hightops with funky zippers that can be worn zipped up with confidence or rolled down for a casual cool look that reveals the adorable hypnotizing patterns inside.  The perfect pair colors of a delicious smooth mint and juicy bubblegum pink, confident blue and staple black, and always classic grey will be sure to pump up anyone's lagging energy level.  These win my vote for best of the batch.

The take-charge Poptart Strap are th favorite of the tougher crowd.  One in a mysterious grey and one in a hardcore black that takes no prisionors, they are a suprising addition clad with punk rock buckles and straps at the top.  Crossing genres is not an easy task but these do exactly that.  Much moxie must be had to back these bad boys up.

Christian Lououboutin's spring collection has something for everyone no matter what your taste.  Whether you are a toughie needing shoes with a little edge and street cred or a sweetheart inspired by color and flash, all will be pleased. It is very obvious that much thought was put into these clever combos. Hats off to the ladies for making it affordable to be fly.
